I am always 3D scanning, segmenting CTs, learning new 3D techniques or software, and open to collaborating on new 3D projects. The HD option is ideal for most archaeological side of the minimum or maximum distances of each range objects. We've been using (or attempting to) use the ScanStudio HD software that came with it and more or less getting poor results. I am most passionate about increasing accessiblity to virtual osteology resources and applying 3D technology to unidentified and missing person cases, especially for improving methods of craniofacial identification. Since then, I have continued working with CTs and expanded my skillset to working with microCT, 3D scanning, visualization, and 3D printing. While at the FBI Laboratory, I learned how to generate and analyze 3D models from computed tomography (CT) scans. After graduate school, I received a research fellowship from the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education to participate in a computerized forensic facial approximation project at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Laboratory in Quantico, VA. in Anthropology from Texas State University in 2007. I am a biological anthropologist specializing in 3D applications within forensic anthropology for forensic skeletal identification and facial approximation.
